PURPOSE:To make it possible to change the flow direction of a check valve as necessary by disposing the check valve in one of the two holes drilled in a side wall of a cylindrical plug rotatably disposed in a valve body. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical plug 6 has in its side wall two opposing holes 6a, 6b through which a fluid passes, and is rotatably disposed in a valve body 5. When the hole 6a, 6b are respectively communicated to the opening of conduits 9, 10, the flow of the fluid in the direction of arrow A is inhibited by the check function of a disc 7. The rotation of a handle 1 by 90 deg. will close the opening of the conduits 9, 10 by the cylindrical wall of the plug 6, and the flow of the fluid across the conduits 9, 10 is shut off. When the handle 1 is rotated by 180 deg., the opening of the conduits 9, 10 are respectively communicated to the holes 6a, 6b in the plug, and the fluid can flow only in the direction of arrow A. |
