PURPOSE:To improve the electric and thermal properties of an insulated coil by employing specific epoxy-immersing resin. CONSTITUTION:An insulating sheet lined with porous insulating material as a lining material is wound on a coil conductor, and a low viscosity epoxy- immersed resin is impregnated with the wound layer and thermally molded under pressure. The low viscosity epoxy-containing resin includes a mixture of 0.01- 1.0 part of zinc octylate and 100 parts of composition prepared by mixing 100 parts of cyclic epoxide resin having at least two epoxy groups in a molecule and 5-50 parts of p-t-butylphenylglycidyl ether represented by the formula ( I ), heat treated at 90-150 deg.C for 10-120min, liquid cyclic acid anhydride is mixed to produce liquid-containing resin, which is used as a low viscosity epoxy-containing resin. |
