TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING SAID TONER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which is low in fixing temp. and has good offset resistance and a wide fixable temp. range by using a block copolymer or graft copolymer contg. an amorphous polymer block and crystalline polymer block respectively consisting of polyester in the molecule as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:This binder is the block copolymer or graft copolymer formed by chemically bonding the amorphous polymer block and crystalline polymer block respectively at ratios at which 40-99wt% and 1-60wt% are obtd. Both the amorphous polymer block and the crystalline polymer block consist of the polyester. The amorphous polymer block contg. 1-50mol% trifunctional or higher multifunctional monomer components is used as the binder. The blocking resistance, offset resistance, fluidity and low temp. fixability are thereby improved and the excellent visible image is formed.
