PURPOSE:To prevent fluid flowing in a pipe and a nipple from being applied with a substantial flow resistance by a method wherein an abutting part is formed in the nipple and a large-diameteral cylindrical part is formed. CONSTITUTION:An extremity end of a cylindrical part 74 of a nipple 7 is formed with an inclined surface 71 directed outwardly. A tapered shoulder portion 91 formed at an end part of a pipe 9 is abutted against the inclined surface. A portion adjacent to the tapered shoulder 91 is formed as a cylindrical part 20. An outer shape of the cylindrical part is larger than an outer shape of other part of the pipe 9 by a desired amount. A nut 9 and a cylindrical holding surface 83 have substantially the same diameter as the outer diameter of a cylindrical part 20, so that the inner diameter of a cylindrical holding part of the nut 8 is larger than that of other part. Therefore, it is possible to assemble the nut 8 onto the pipe 9 with the pipe 9 held at the desired position. As a result, an influence of flow resistance caused by a bending part of the extremity end of the nipple can be eliminated.
