PURPOSE:To identify a specific extension telephone set with only an extension number without providing special means by giving a fixed extension number not revised by system data to a terminal set for writing system data. CONSTITUTION:For example '210' (number with a mark ) of extension numbers is a number given fixedly to a system data writer terminal. That is, e.g., a terminal a3 is set as the system data write terminal by using a dip switch SW, a processing unit CCU stores the fixed extension number '210' in an extension number storage area corresponding to a terminal a3 of an extension number table TB. Thus, the extension number of the extension telephone set TEL3 is set to '210' and the telephone set TEL3 is a specific extension telephone set for system data write. Further, the extension number '210' given to the set zTEL3 is a fixed number not revised by the system data.
