PURPOSE:To prevent registration from a terminal equipment and to prevent much increase in call traffic even with the increased number of zones by collecting moving information of each terminal equipment between zones as transition probability when an exchange station applies each communication and deciding a zone selectively based on the said transistion probability and applying sequential calling. CONSTITUTION:When a call comes from a caller to a terminal equipment K, an exchange at first reads the preceding communication zone of the said terminalequipment from a memory. Suppose that the equipment makes preceding communication at a zone X, the exchange reads the zone transition probability Pk(X,I) of the equipment K and compares a threshold value Q(J) with the transition probability Pk(X,I) at each zone I. Then zones having larger transition probability pk(X,1) than the threshold vlaue Q(J) only are called. If no reply comes regardless of elasped time and not all zones are called yet, the exchange changes the threshold value into Q(2), and calls zones whose transition probability is larger than the value Q(2). In this case, the zones already called are excluded. |
