PURPOSE:To make a height of a tire grasping mechanism adjustable by the rotation of a screw, by supporting the lower end of a vertical shaft supporting a boom in a rotatable manner on a base stand through the screw. CONSTITUTION:An end 5a of a boom 5 is formed into a hollow cylindrical shape and two ball bearings 6 are provided in the boom 5 so that the outer surfaces thereof are aligned with the inner surface of the boom and the inner surfaces thereof are aligned with the outer surface of a shaft 7. A screw 7d is provided to the under side of the lower end part 7c of the shaft 7 to be engaged with the female screw provided to a base stand 4 and a tire grasping mechanism is provided to the lower end of the boom 5. Therefore, when a spanner is adapted to an end square pillar part 7e at the end of the shaft 7 and revolved, the boom 5 can be raised and lowered by the action of the screw 7d. In a loader having such a type that the left and right sides of a tire vulcanizing machine are simultaneously raised and lowered, the left and right heights thereof can be altered and a raw tire different in left-hand and right-hand heights can be grasped. |
