PURPOSE:To take a balance test at a low rotational frequency by suspending both sides of a bearing main body across the axial center of a body to be tested by pendulums supported by a rack and allowing the bearing main body to swing at right angles to the axial direction of the body to be tested. CONSTITUTION:Both sides of the bearing main body across the axial center of the body 31 to be tested are suspended through bearings by the pendulums 21 supported by the rack 41 through bearings 22. The upper part of the bearing main body 11 is formed into a bearing part 12 where a V groove 13 for supporting the body 31 to be tested is formed. A pickup 52 is provided to the rack 41 and vibrations of the bearing main body 11 are sent to the pickup 52 by a coupling rod 51 penetrating an opening formed in the rack 41. Then when the body 31 to be tested rotates, a centrifugal force is generated owing to unbalance and the upward component of the centrifugal force is restricted by the upward supporting force or gravitational force of the bearing main body 11, thereby thrusting the bearing part to right and left with the component perpendicular to the axis of the body 31 to be tested. The bearing main body 11 suspended by the couple of pendulums 21 swings to right and left and its rocking is detected by the pickup 52.
