PURPOSE:To take a normal copy without any coordinate display and to eliminate the trouble in measuring coordinates again by embedding a transparent display device in contact glass, displaying the numerals of coordinates of input to a console panel on the display device, and turning off a display switch. CONSTITUTION:When an original is copied, the part of an area I is masked by the 1st area specification and the part of an area II is copied in black, and then a coordinate X is displayed at the left end; when the area I is trimmed and copied in red, a copy with a coordinate display X' is obtained. When this obtained copy is further copied, coordinates X1 and Y1, and X2 and Y2 are inputted on the console panel over a look at the copied coordinate display X, and a masking key 2 and then a black/red key 1 are pressed, thereby obtaining a copy automatically. Further, the trimming key 3 is pressed and the same operation is carried out to obtain a reversal copy.
