PURPOSE:To manufacture a disk, which has a minute surface pattern and has a projection as a spacer, without passing the process for adhesion or the like between the disk and the space by using a mold, which fixes a stamper and has a spacer-shaped recessed part, or a mold, on which the stamper having the spacer-shaped recessed part is placed, to form a substrate for optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A mold for injection molding consists of an upper mold part 26, which is provided with a specular surface to form a specular surface 6 of a substrate 1 for optical recording medium as a molded article, and a stamper 21 which is placed on a mold part 27 having a stamper-side plane 17, whose outside diameter is shorter than that of the mold part 26, so that the part of a surface pattern 2 is turned up, and stamper fixing members 23 and 24 which are provided with recessed parts 13 and 14 to form spacer parts and are provided with claws 15 and 16 to fix the stamper surface are attached to the inside peripheral part and the outside peripheral part of the stamper 21 to fix the stamper 21. In this case, the stamper fixing member 24 attached to the outside peripheral part forms the spacer of the substrate and a cavity in the outside end part. It is preferable that the plane 17 of the mold part 27 is a specular surface. |
