PURPOSE:To enable an impact noise to be adequately prevented, by charging the inside of a metallic cylinder of a reaction force plunger with a vibro-isolating material, adapted to a stopper, and fitting an annular vibro-isolating material, adapted to an output shaft side stopper stepped part, to be mounted to a small contour part of the metallic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In an oil pressure reaction force device 20 of a power steering gear for a vehicle, a reaction force plunger 22, slidably supported into a guide hole 24 in the side of an output shaft 11, restricts a reaction force arm 21 in the side of an input shaft 10 from the direction of rotation by a reaction force oil pressure, and said plunger 22 stops its outer end part to a stopper 25 while the inner end part to a stopper stepped part 28 in the side of the output shaft 11. While the reaction force plunger 22 charges the inside of a metallic cylinder, opening its outer end part, with a vibro-isolating material 32, which protrudes its one part being opposed to the stopper 25, further the plunger fits an annular vibro-isolating material 34, opposed to the stopper stepped part 28, to be mounted to a small contour part 33 of the inner end part. In this way, an impact noise with the stopper or an impact noise between the reaction force arm and the stopper stepped part can be adequately prevented from being generated.
