PURPOSE:To permit inexpensive and simple measurement in real time by fixing a porous 'Teflon(R)' film to one end of a cylindrical barrel in such a manner that the film can be attached and detached therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 1 which senses the gaseous alcohol permeated through the 'Teflon(R)' film provided on a mesh 5 is provided to the top end of the cylindrical barrel 9. The gaseous alcohol proportional to the alcohol concn. in an aq. alcohol soln. of a measuring sample fills in the barrel when the part provided with the 'Teflon(R)' film is immersed into said ag. soln. The point where the alcohol components in the barrel and the son. attain an equip. state through the film is read by the sensor 1a and is displayed. A rubber spout 10 is operated to be compressed to clean the periphery of the 'Teflon(R)' film by the outdoor air and to discharge 3 the gas so that there is not residual gas in the barrel in the measurement stage. The film, when contaminated, and the part supporting the same are disconnected from the barrel of the body at a screw joint part 6 and can be exchanged with a new film. The resistance change proportional to the alcohol concn. detected by the sensor 1 provided to a socket 2 is indicated by a meter 11 through a lead wire 4.
