PURPOSE:To improve the correctness and efficiency of a test and the adjustment of video receiver such as a television receiver by controlling respective parts of a device in accordance with the input from a video signal selecting part, a setting item selecting part and a ten-key part. CONSTITUTION:Out of several 10 types of the video signal, the video signal suitable to the receiver is selected by a video signal selecting part 5 and a ten-key part 2. Next, a component to be changed to watch a response on the screen of a receiver 9 concerning the video signal is selected by a setting item selecting part 1, while it is confirmed by a setting value display part 4, the numeric value setting is executed by the ten-key part 2, and then, the video signal of the set contents is supplied to the receiver 9. When the setting value is linearly and continuously to be changed and a rotary encoder 6 is turned, the video signal with the change of the setting value is obtained, the response can be observed on the of the screen receiver 9.
