PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of an anchor attachment member without sacrificing its strength by joining a reinforcement having a plurarity of ridges and grooves in a lateral direction of a vehicle from under a floor panel and arranging a torque arrester straddling ridges neighboring each other and an anchor retention part in a border recess. CONSTITUTION:A seat belt anchor retention part 32 consists of a border portion 44, a nut plate 32b welded to sloped surface of both ridges 41 and 42 between which the border portion 44 is held, and a weld nut 32a, while a seat belt anchor 51 for retaining a seat belt 50 is fixed to the retention part 32 by means of a bolt 52. A torque arrester 31, arranged to straddle the ridges 41 and 42, are fitted at positions apart from a floor panel 10 to the ridges 41 and 42 by means of a bolt 31c. A reinforcement 40, having a great strength with a box type cross section continuously spanning between side members 20 and 21 can effectively spread impact forces applied to the torque arrester or tensile forces applied to the seat belt anchor 51 over the floor panel 10 in spite of a small thickness of the sheet forming the reinforcement 40.
