<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate various types of an identifying signal without fail by detecting the identifying signal recorded on a tape, the storing an address signal in a PCM area on the track of the PCM area and a sub-code area, changing the contents of the identifying signal based upon the address signal and executing the re-recording. CONSTITUTION:The changing point of a program starting recorded on a tape or a skip identifying signal is detected. An address signal in a PCM area at the time of detection, namely, a frame address is stored. While the frame address is read, an after-recording mode is set, the contents of the identifying signal are changed in the after-recording mode, re-recording, namely the program starting or the skip identifying signal is changed from '1' to '0', and the '0' is re-recorded. Thus, the program starting or the skip identifying signal of '1' recorded earlier is deleted and the desired identifying signal can be automatically eliminated without fail.</p> |
