PURPOSE:To obtain a process unit where toner never leaks and is neither scattered nor dislocated locally by mounting and demounting, the process unit on and from a main device body and also carrying and leaving the process unit while holding a waste toner container bottom surface downward and the waste toner container aperture upward. CONSTITUTION:When the process unit 8 is mounted and demounted, a movable body 11 is rotated as shown by an arrow C to mount and demount the process unit 8 as shown by an arrow D, and this mounting and demounting operations are carried out by holding a grip 14. The grip 14 is formed integrally with a process unit enclosure while protruded from the enclosure, and also constituted by a member extending to the photosensitive drum 1 in the direction of the rotary shaft of a photosensitive drum 1 opposite a waste toner container. Namely, a user in case of mounting the process unit 8 puts the movable body 1 in motion for transportation, etc., but the process unit never changes in its attitude. Consequently, waste toner collected in the waste toner container 6 provided below the photosensitive drum 1 is neither dislocated in one direction nor scattered and never leaks out of the process unit. |
