PURPOSE:To make it possible to melt a stock material in a short time and to perform molding work of precise parts, by constituting a stock material heating cylinder of an infrared lamp and a reflective plate, while supplying a plastic stock material pre-molded in a hoop shape to the aforementioned stock material heating cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A stock material heating cylinder is constituted of an infrared lamp consisting of an inner cylinder 8 and an outer cylinder 10 both of which formed of transparent glass and a filament 9 such as a tungsten filament and a reflective plate 13. A plunger 18 linearily movable in the inner cylinder 8 is provided with a piercing orifice at the central part thereof. In this constitution, a hoop shaped stock material 16 is supplied into the stock material heating cylinder over a predetermined length through the piercing orifice of the plunger 18 by the feeding of a roller 17 and continuously heated and melted by infrared rays from the filament 9 and reflected rays from the reflective plate 13. When a predetermined amount of the stock material is melted, the plunger 18 advances along with the unmelted resin present in the piercing orifice thereof while the molten stock material is injected into a mold through a nozzle 19. |
