PURPOSE:To reduce thrust load on an impeller and miniaturize a motor, by making a bearing part form of the impeller into a special one, in case of a centrifugal pump subject to electromagnetic coupling with the motor. CONSTITUTION:When a pushbottom 15 is pressed, a motor gets rotating at low speed, and an impeller 17 is also rotated with electromagnetic coupling between magnets 19 and 22, hot water is pressurized by the impeller and poured to the outside out of a discharge port 12. At this time, a spherical surface 28 at the outer end of a bearing part 17 of the impeller is made into point contact, but the sliding resistance is very small. When a speed of rotation is raised to increase the pouring quantity, pressure in a pump chamber 20 comes higher by high speed rotation of the impeller, whereby the impeller 17 is floated up by back pressure from the underside, but suction force of these magnets 19 and 22 works there so that each load to be imposed on a fixed shaft end face 26 and a bearing shaft bottom surface 30 is reduced, thus the sliding resistance in this part is made smaller. Therefore, a small motor in small torque is usable.
