PURPOSE:To obtain the simple and highly reliable constitution of a recorder by unitedly arranging toner feeding and removing means in an image recorder for recording an image by a recording electrode and toner on a specific position. CONSTITUTION:A hopper 4 for storing conductive magnetic toner 5 is arranged on the side where an electrode 2 arranged obliquely from the vertical direction of a developing member 9 forms an acute angle with the member 9. While being regulated at the quantity to be carried by a toner regulating means 4a and sucked by a strong permanent magnet 10, the toner 5 is carried on the surfaces of sleeves 7, 8 and after arriving at the tip of the electrode, forms a toner chain arriving at the outside of the member 9 to contribute to image recording. Also, the excess toner is recovered to a hopper 4 by the rotation of a magnet roll 6. Since the feeding to such hopper 4 and removal are executed at one part, the device is simplified and the reliability is increased.
