PURPOSE:To attain the talking with a slave set at an optional location within a limit of a voice sensitivity of a master set even if a caller does not visit the installing location of the master set by operating an alternate channel changeover switch in a wireless remote controller. CONSTITUTION:The master set 9 is provided with a function receiving an alter nate channel switching signal using an infrared ray 8 and applying talking switch control with a reception section 7 of the infrared ray signal. The infrared ray wireless remote controller 5 is provided with an alternate talking changeover key switch 10 and an infrared ray sending section 6 converting the on/off signal from the switch 10 into the infrared ray signal 8 and sending the signal. In depressing the alternate taking changeover key switch of the controller 5, the on-signal is sent as the infrared ray signal 8. The reception section of the master set 9 receives the signal 8 to apply channel changeover. The caller can communi cate with the slave set, even not in the vicinity of the master set 9, within a range of the voice sensitivity of the master set 9.
