PURPOSE:The titled composition, containing an N-acylamino acid salt and/or specific peptides and aminoalkanesulfonate, having high safety, mildly acting on the skin and excellent in foaming power and touch of foam. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) 0.1-30wt% N-acylamino acid salt and/or (B) 0.05-20wt% peptides selected from a peptide, having 200-8,000 average molecular wt., prepared by hydrolyzing a natural protein, an acylated peptide prepared by acylating with a 6-24C acylating agent, and alkali metal salt and hydroxyalkyl-substituted ammonium salt of the acylated peptide and (C) 1-30wt% compound of the formula [R1 is alkyl; R2 is H or alkyl; R3 is H or (hydroxy)alkyl; R4 and R5 each are H, alkyl, etc.; n is 1 or 2; M is alkali metal, organic amine, etc.].
