PURPOSE:To detect inclination angles in all directions, by inserting a metallic sphere available for motions inside a hollow spherical body and arranging a plurality of analog-output type approach sensor on the outside surface of the hollow spherical body. CONSTITUTION:When an inclination sensor inclined to the direction of an arrow A through an angle of 90 deg. and to the direction of an arrow B through an angle of 90 deg., outputs can be available from each approach sensor X1-Z2 respectively. If the arrangement is as shown by the attached drawing, the inclination angle is zero, showing the maximum output of an approach sensor 21, the minimum output of a 22, and the same value of outputs of approach sensors X1, X2, Y1, Y2. And, increased inclination toward the direction shown by an arrow A, causes an output of the sensor X1 to increase and when a metallic sphere 12 contact a detecting surface of the sensor X1 with an inclination of 90 deg., its out value becomes maximum. Thus, inclinations in all the directions become available basing upon an output of the sensor.
