<p>PURPOSE:To prevent noise from being generated in the vicinity of a change point of a recording speed, by inhibiting a recording operation executed by a recording means, when it has been detected by a detecting circuit that a level of a tracking error signal exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A tracking error signal which has been selected and outputted by a signal switching circuit 22 is supplied to a detecting circuit 35 consisting of comparator circuits 33, 34, and a detected output is inputted to an FF 37 through an OR circuit 36. The FF 37 is triggered by a rise edge of the circuit 36, and outputs a signal of a high level. Whenever a delay type FF 40 is triggered by a rise edge of the FF 37, its output is inverted. By a recording speed switching device 41, a running speed, etc., of a magnetic tape 2 are switched and controlled in accordance with an output of the FF 40. On the other hand, an output of the FF 37 is inputted to a base of a transistor 42 through a resistance, it is turned on, when the output of the FF 37 has exceeded a prescribed value, and an analog audio signal which is inputted as a signal to be recorded is muted.</p> |
