PURPOSE:To control the temperature of a room such that is becomes equal to a preset temperature at a desired time by constituting the space heater so that the space heating is started by control means if a difference between a preset temperature and the room temperature detected by room temperature detecting means is higher than a predetermined temperature. CONSTITUTION:When a difference DELTAT between a preset temperature and the room temperature is 15 deg.C or more, the operation is started. That is, when it becomes 6:15 a.m. which is before 45min from a set time, a timer LED and an operation LED are lit, and a solenoid 5 and a heater 6 are driven to put the space heater into a preheating state. Thereafter, a control part 4 turns off a pump 7 and the solenoid 5, and an igniter 8 is turned ON and ignited. By these procedures, kerosene burns to put the space heater into a space heating mode. The control part 4 judges whether 1hr has passed from the starting of the space heater or not. If it is judged that 1hr is not passed yet, the control part 4 continues the space heating operation. If it is judged that 1hr has passed, the control part 4 put out fire.
