PURPOSE:To facilitate the holding of a flat plate in laterally turned position and lifted position, by stacking a plurality of flat plates each made of a material to which cells are attachable and proliferable and furnished with a feeding hole through which gas and liquid are introduced and attaching the stacked plates to a laterally turning frame. CONSTITUTION:The flat plate 4 used in the present apparatus is made mainly of a material to which cells can be attached and proliferated, has thick fringe and is provided with feeding ports 6, 7 for feeding gas and liquid. PLurality of the plates are stacked and attached to a laterally turning frame. The plate can be easily turned to lateral position in the case of pouring a medium into the apparatus and can be kept to lifted position for a long period in the case of discharging the medium and recovering the cultured product. The plates can be easily removed from the frame to save space in an incubator.
