PURPOSE:To permit the use for a long period by applying a sheet-shaped sintered body made of metal powder and diamond powder or CBN powder onto a stick-shaped base in a curved form, thus improving fittness. CONSTITUTION:The abrasive grains 2 such as diamond grains and CBN powder are mixed in 1-25wt%, preferably 7-10wt% into the metal powder such as Ni-20wt% Sn or Cu, and the mixture is molded into sheet form through the rolling method or press method. Then, the abrasive grains 2 are bonded in a metal layer 1 through sintering, and a sheet-shaped sintered body 5 having gas holes 3 is formed, and said body is cut to a prescribed dimension, and applied onto a base 4 by adhesive 6. Thus, several layers of abrasive grains can be obtained, and the use of a long period is permitted, and softness can be obtained, since a number of gas holes are provided, and the application with the superior fittness is permitted, and the grinding performance can be improved, because the holes serve as chip pockets.
