PURPOSE:To make it possible to cause a transmission function of a table drive system to change automatically and design a stabilized control of the drive system by performing operation of the drive system while the table is moving and causing an element in an amplifier to change according to the result of the operation. CONSTITUTION:When changeovers between start, stop and axial direction of a table 1 is performed and if the drive of the table becomes unstable, data sampled are operated and compared with ideal values. As the calculated data do not agree with the ideal values, data for making them agree are calculated. Then, an element changeover command for causing the calculated value to agree with the ideal values is calculated and outputted to an amplifier 6. And an element in the amplifier is changed by the element changeover command so that the table drive system is stabilized and the process like this is repeated again. Thus, an object to be machined of a good machining accuracy can be obtained.
