PURPOSE:To prevent the gas enclosure and to improve the quality of casting by filling up molten metal in a horizontal molten supplying sleeve by moving forward a main plunger facing to an auxiliary and supplying into a cavity from a sprue by moving backward the auxiliary plunger. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary plunger 11 in a movable die 5 is inserted into the supplying sleeve 8 in a fixed die 3 for the horizontal facing dies 1. The molten metal M supplied from pouring sprue 8a closes the pouring sprue 8a by moving forward the main plunger 10 and also exhausts air in the sleeve 8 and is filled up the molten M into the sleeve 8. By moving forward the main plunger 10 and backward the auxiliary plunger 11, the molten metal M in the sleeve 8 is supplied into the cavity 6 form the sprue 6a. The gas enclosure is not occurred at the time supplying molten metal, and the quality of casting is improved. Further, by filling up the molten metal M in the sleeve 8, the temp. drop is prevented.
