PURPOSE:To ensure conduction by providing a holder with an extension and fixing a conductor for brush at said extension. CONSTITUTION:In a brush apparatus 10, a brush 1 is provided to come into contact with a motor commutator 11 and its holder 2 is cylindrically formed to hold the brush 1 in the manner of enabling said brush to move perpendicularly to a contact face A. In said holder 2, an extension 3 formed into an L-shape by bending is provided at an end B on the opposite side of the commutator 11 and a spring 4 is provided between said extension and the brush 1. To ensure conduction between the brush 1 and the holder 2, also, a conductor 5 furnished with flexible characteristics is provided between the brush 1 and the extension 3. With this, a conducting state between the holder 2 and the brush 1 is ensured and the brush 1 is also prevented from coming off the holder.
