PURPOSE:To enable the positioning with a quite high accuracy by constructing such that a nut and a working member are connected through a resilient coupling member having the board face directing toward the moving direction of the working member. CONSTITUTION:Since a nut 6 and a working member (moving table) 1 are connected through a coupling member 7 with the board face thereof directing toward the moving direction of the working member, the working member follows reliably to the motion of said nut 6 in the feeding direction. If the advance-straight performance is not maintained in a threaded shaft 4 or a guide rod 3, the shift of said advance-straight performance is absorbed by the coupling board 7, thereby an excessive force does not function onto a fitting section between a ball screw and the nut 6 thus enabling a smooth traveling of the working member. Consequently, the backlash due to the abrasion does not increase even when this device is functioned repeatedly.
