The invention relates to a perforated card device for a microcomputer in use in schools and colleges so as to optimise the use thereof. It comprises a series of sheet metal cards 1 pierced with holes 2 where each card comprises a series of magnetic studs 3 for coding information, a write area 2 and notches 6 for identifying the card by the perforated card reader. One of the applications of the invention is rapid, collective and automatic checking of school exercises. <IMAGE>
