PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten an apparatus by causing a power supply portion outputting a given DC voltage on the basis of a charging current for a CDI capacitor to be connected between an earth and a primary side winding of an ignition coil forming a CDI circuit. CONSTITUTION:Rectifier diodes 2, 3 are respectively connected with output terminals of an exciter coil 1 and diodes 4, 5 are connected between said output terminals and an earth. Thyristors 6, 7 are connected with these diodes 2, 3 and capacitors 8, 9, with a primary winding of ignition coils 10, 11. Further, said thyristors 6, 7 are turned ON by a control output of control circuits 12, 13 simultaneously with an ignition time detection of pulse coils 14, 15. Moreover, a power supply portion 17 to be connected with the coil 10 is composed of a thyristor 17c, a capacitor 17e, a Zener diode 17f and so on. With this, a CDI capacitor charging current is intermittently supplied supplied so that a terminal voltage of said capacitor will become constant.
