Disclosed is a light-silver silver halide color photographic material, having a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green sensitive silver halide emulsion and a red sensitive silver halide emulsion on a support; which comprises said red sensitive silver halide emulsion containing at least one kind of the compounds represented by the formula [I] shown below, and further the content of the silver halide contained in all of the aforesaid light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers being 7.5 g/m2 or more as calculated on silver, and the content of the silver halide contained in said red sensitive silver halide emulsion being 3.5 g/m2 or more as calculated on silver: Formula [I] wherein, X, R1 and R2 as defined in the specification.
