PURPOSE:To prevent a trouble such as a flexible pipe break and twisting together due to the stop of riser pipe turn by separating the flexible pipe wound about a winding drum from the turning riser pipe and forcibly rewinding the flexible pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a winder drum 80 has taken in flexible pipes 120 and 121 up to the full capacity thereof with the turn of a ship's hull, upper and lower stop valves 5a-5d are closed, thereby interrupting continuity between riser pipes 110 and 111, and the flexible pipes 120 and 121. Then, both flanges 2a and 2b are separated from each other with a jointing device 3 and the flange 2a is rotated on a rotary rewinding turning device 7 together with the winding drum 80, in a direction opposite to the winding direction of the flexible pipes 120 and 121. Thereafter, the jointing device 3 connect the flanges 2a and 2b to each other and the stop valves 5a-5d are opened, thereby making the flexible pipes 120 and 121 continuous to the riser pipes 110 and 111, and starting an operation. According to the aforesaid constitution, work on board can be stably carried out.
