PURPOSE:To attain the efficient utilization of a buffer by seting information representing the state of a reception buffer in one's own equipment and priority information depending on the importance of transmission data to the transmission data and using the information so as to apply the mutual transmission reception control of the data. CONSTITUTION:Reception data are stored in plural reception buffers 19-1,19-2,19-3 in an equipment 10 applying data communication and the information relating to the priority of the buffer of an opposite equipment 10B to a priority information setting section 14 of a data transmission control section 11. Furthermore, the information relating to idle/occupied buffers of its own equipment is set in a transmission frame of a buffer state setting section 15. Then a reception buffer selection section 18 of a data reception control section 17 selects a buffer based on the priority information set in the reception frame. Moreover, the data transmission 13 is applied based on the information relating to the idle/occupied buffer of the equipment 10B.
