A gas duct assembly for a gas cooker boiling top, or hob, has three plates or sheets (1, 4, 14); namely an upper plate (14) providing the working surface of the boiling top or hob, a lower plate (1) for closure and protection and an intermediate plate (4). The lower plate (1) and intermediate plate (4) have respective channels (2, 3) formed therein which an assembly of the lower and intermediate plates (1, 4) define ducts for the passage of gas to burners of the boiling top or hob, the lower and intermediate plates being sealed to one another at their perimeters. <IMAGE>
