A matrix of sockets formed by the connection of smaller socket modules (Fig. 1) and suitably shaped pegs (Figs. 4, 5) which will permit the secure positioning of items or loads of various shapes and sizes on horizontal or vertical surfaces. The pegs can be fitted with a hook or otherwise shaped to suit various positioning and securing situations. <IMAGE>
