PURPOSE:To make particle size and shape uniform by forming a positive mix by kneading active material such as poly carbon fluoride and manganese dioxide and graphite with a fluorine resin binder, drying, then crushing with a granulator. CONSTITUTION:Poly carbon fluoride or manganese dioxide serving as positive active material and graphite serving as conductive material are kneaded with a fluorine resin binder, and they are dried, then crushed with a granulator to prepare a positive mix. The positive mix is molded in a pellet to form a positive electrode 7. It is combined with a negaitve electrode 3 using light metal as active material and a separator 5 to form an organic electrolyte battery. By crushing the positive mix with the granulator, particle size and shape of the mix are made uniform. Thereby, scattering of mix weight in molding process is decreased, density of the mix is made uiform, and internal resistance of a battery is decreased. Battery performance in the initial stage and during storage is effectively improved. |
