PURPOSE:To ensure highly reliable operation by constituting a driven member to be slided for pulling a cable by a driving gear interlocked with the rotation of an operating lever, and furthermore by providing each locking mechanism to the operating lever and the driven member respectively. CONSTITUTION:When an operating lever 12 is rotated upwards, a rack bar 11 is slided to the direction C via a driving gear 13 for pulling a wire 14b so as to actuate a braking mechanism. In this case, the rack bar 11 is locked at that slided position by No.2 locking mechanism 16 whereby the operating lever 12 is held at the rotationally operated position by No.1 locking mechanism 15. Under this condition, when a button 17b of a releasing mechanism 17 is pressed, the pole 16a of a locking mechanism 16 is oscillated by a releasing spring 17e so as to be separated from a ratchet 16b. And the pole 15a of a locking mechanism 15 is simultaneously oscillated by an engaging clip 17f so as to be separated from a ratchet 15b. Owing to this constitution, the rack bar 11 is unlocked, thereby making a braking mechanism inoperative. |
