PURPOSE:To enable connecting any type of reel by providing a permanent magnet on each opposite surface between a separate coupling member capable of mounting selectively a reel of different mounting type on a driving axis, and the driving flange of said axis. CONSTITUTION:A coupling member 24 or 25 suitable for a cartridge mounted on the base 17a of a mounting frame is selected and absorption fitted to the driving flange 23 of a driving axis 21 via respective permanent magnets 43 and 47, while a connecting axis 45 is coupled to a connecting hole 42 and a passive pin 46 to a driving hole 44. Then, for example, when a coupling member 25 is fitted, a solenoid 30 is excited and the coupling member 25 is retreated from a through-hole 26 to the outside of the base 17a for inserting the cartridge. Thereafter, another solenoid 41 is excited, the retreat position restriction of the driving axis 21 is released and the coupling member 25 is connected to the cartridge via the force of a spring 33. According to the aforesaid constitution, any type of reel and cartridge can be used easily on the same roll film carrier by selecting and mounting a coupling member suitable for the type to a driving axis.
