PURPOSE:To arrange the shielding member, to be used for shielding of the edge part of a yoke core, in such a manner that it is easily positioned along the edge part of the yoke core by a method wherein an insulative filler is provided around a metal supporting rod until the desired curvature is obtained, an electrode is provided on the surface of the filler and it is used as the shielding member, and the shielding member is provided on the edge part of the yoke core. CONSTITUTION:A supporting rod 11 is formed with a metal round bar and it is used as a shielding member 6, and after it has been formed by processing into circular arc shape so that the shielding member can be positioned along the edge part 3A of the yoke core 3 to be shielded, an insulative filler 12 is provided around the shielding member 6, and then an electrode 13 is formed on the surface of the filler 12. A tape consisting of the insulating material such as paper, resin and the like, for example, is wound successively around the filler 12. The curvature with which the objective electric field can be sufficiently alleviated is obtained using said filler 12. The electrode 13 to be provided on the surface of the filler 12 is constituted by winding a carbon tape, an aluminum foil, an aluminum crepe tape and the like.
