PURPOSE:To obtain a facsimile equipment that satisfies the intention of an operator by storing the telephone number of a person on the transmission side, determining the priority of recording by the said telephone number for recording. CONSTITUTION:The priority (headquarter office, branch office 1, 2...) is set in a recording priority setting part 10, and the telephone numbers of the offices are stored. Reception images are stored in a storage part 9, and recorded by a recording part 2. First, originals of priority order '1' are searched, then they are recorded in the order of arrivals. If the number times of recording exceeds '10', the recording mode shifts to that of the originals of priority order '2', and the counting of the originals of priority order '1' is cleared. The originals of priority order '2' are searched, recorded in order of arrivals, and the number of times of their recordings are counted. If the said counting exceeds '10', the recording mode shifts so that of the originals of priority order '3'. With such constitution, informations of high importance are processed earlier in accordance with the priority of the offices that transmitted them, hence the facsimile is can be used effectively.
