An electrical plug connector whose one connector part, which can be installed in the wall of a switching cabinet or the like by means of a base part, can be electrically and mechanically connected at the rear, like a plug, to a test adaptor component, supports the exposed contact points, which are accessible independently of the outgoing electrical connecting leads, and is provided with lateral retaining brackets which can be screwed onto bearing shoulders in the flange housing, the base part and the connector part, which can be inserted into the base part from the inside facing away from the plug side, being provided with plug locking elements which engage in one another (interlock) in a latching manner during insertion.
