PURPOSE:To obtain a recording position of high precision without any occur rence of the meandering of recording sheets reciprocating and under a recording process by providing members freely rotatable and having fine projections on a part of one roller of a set of rollers for feeding the sheets. CONSTITUTION:In the recording device wherein a recording paper sheet is giving a reciprocating motion, the sheet is caught and carried by and between a roller 2a rotating via a driving system and a press roller 3 at the idle side. Fine projections (a) are formed on a part of the roller 2a and members 12 and 13 are so constituted as to be freely rotatable with an axis 14, so that indents corresponding to said projections (a) are formed on the sheet as fed and the reciprocating passage thereof is constant, thereby preventing the widthwise shift of the sheet. Also, as the members 12 and 13 rotate following the motion of the sheet and above nothing to do with the speed thereof, the recording position of high precision is available and shear in printing and the like can be prevented.
