PURPOSE:To shorten the starting time of discharge and to keep the stable discharge state continuously, by simultaneously starting a starting high voltage power source, a main power source, and a filament current circuit. CONSTITUTION:An igniting device for deuterium discharge tube 8 is constituted by the following power source parts, a starting high voltage power source part comprising a power source transformer 1, a diode 2a, a capacitor 4a and a resistor 3, a main power source part comprising the power source transformer 1, a rectifying stack 5, a capacitor 4b and a diode 2b, a filament power source circuit 13, and the like. The starting high voltage power source part, the main power source part and the filament power source part 13 are simultaneously operated when the power source transformer 1 is operated. |
