Rapidly closing window for keeping out noise

To keep the noise of time-limited noise sources out of residences, a window is proposed which rapidly and noiselessly closes automatically when noise starts. This is associated with an acoustical-electronic sensor which detects typical noise sources and, when a noise level is exceeded, initiates the closing of the window.
