Included in the amplifier arrangement is a resistance (4) which regulates the current which it receives via a control resistance (5). If the small signal transistor (3) and and the gold wire diode (2) are close to one another in an integrated circuit, the induction in the connection between them controls the current to such an extend that the signal current passes without noticeable voltage drop. The gold wire diode amplifies the voltage from virtually nothing to full output level without amplifying the current in the signal. - Frequency control is by a capacitor (8) and a choke (9) which are coupled in parallel, and also connected in parallel to the gold wire diode via a capacitor (6). Any number of stages can be used in the arrangement, and if the circuit is not integrated the gold wire diode can be replaced by a spiral spring. |
