PURPOSE:To eliminate a slack in a band-like web to perform a high speed and smooth intermittent feed of the web in order to aim at enhancing the productivity, by using a servo-motor which is highly responsive at once to a control instruction, as a drive source for a pay-out roller and a feed-out rotary body for the band-like web. CONSTITUTION:In an intermittent feed control device, a pay-out roller 5 and a feed-out rotary body 10 initiates their rotation, simultaneously, in response to the start and stop of an a.c. serve-motor 20, and stop the rotation with a slight time difference. That is, when the motor 20 is stopped instantly in response to an stopping instruction from a control device 27, the transmission of torque to transmission mechanisms 32, 38 is cut off. Accordingly, the roller 5 is simultaneously stopped. Further, in the transmission mechanism 38, a transmission shaft 39 is instantly stopped in its rotation, but a transmission spur gear 42 still rotates with its inertia, slightly in the direction of the arrow, by an amount corresponding to a play allowed in a one-way roller 43, and is then stopped. Accordingly, the rotary body 10 is also stopped with a time difference. With this arrangement, it is possible to eliminate slacks in a web 2 and a wrapping sheet 2B.
