PURPOSE:To insure data against disappearing and to save work by adding a memory, automatically recording display data without special work and operation and reading the data if necessary. CONSTITUTION:If no input of data from a keyboard 2 reaches a fixed time during calculation, an arithmetic circuit 1 writes data that a display circuit 3 displays in a RAM 6, after which the circuit 1 modifies display contents. When instructing data reading the data stored in the RAM 6 is inputted from the keyboard 2, the data stored in the RAM 6 is read out, and displayed in the display circuit 3. Simultaneously operations are made according to data on operations from the keyboard 2. If the data from the keyboard 2 is not a read instruction but arithmetic data, operations are made according to said data, and the display circuit 3 displays arithmetic results.
