PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. contg. a specifid amine compd. salt and a water-sol. rust and corrosion inhibitor and useful for plastic working, cutting, grinding, etc. of metal. CONSTITUTION:The metal working lubricant compsn. is prepd. by adding about 0.5-20% (based on a total weight of the compsn.) water sol. rust and corrosion inhibitor (e.g. chromate, butylamine salt of lauric acid or mercaptobenzotriazole) to a 4-22C aliphatic, alycyclic or aromatic amine (e.g. butylamine, cyclohexylamine or benzylamine) salt or quaternary ammonium salt of acidic phosphoric acid (e.g. orthophosphoric acid, 2-hydroxypropyl phosphate, methyl phosphonic acid or thio compds. thereof) or boric acid. |
